  • Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic:   This is an owner, the quality of this presentation of the Watchmen is amazing. For more on Watchmen Motion Comic: Review: Watchmen Motion Comic
  • Rick and Steve: The Complete Second Season:  The second season of this saucy puppet show chucked full of gay humor and social commentary.  This is a definite owner for me as a fan of irreverent humor that also makes you think.  This show has also given me many quotable lines.

Dr. Horrible's 2, So Captain Hammer Says

Nathan Fillion joins Joss Whedon in the desire to make another Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.  This is music to my ears but don’t get too excited yet.  It appears the only thing keeping us from the next one is their busy schedule.

"He's busy with Dollhouse right now, and I'm a little bit busy with Castle right now, so not in the near future, no," Fillion said.

One Divine Hammer

captain-hammer I was playing around on the new MTV Music Video site when I stumbled across one of my favorite songs from High School, and for some reason it reminded me of Nathan Fillion. I am curious if I am the only one.  Maybe it is because it makes me think about how a “man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do,” or maybe it is because “everyone’s a hero in their own way.”

Granted, more likely then not, it is because we all know what the hammer is.  I can see Captain Hammer standing there with his hair gently wafting in the breeze as this song plays.

Dr Horrible’s Master Plan

I love Neil Patrick Harris!  It is bordering on an addiction, but is a happy euphoric sort of way that I cannot get enough of his work of Joss Whedon's.  The two of them together is almost enough to make my head pop.  If you haven't seen it yet is will be up up on Dr Horrible.com until July 20th at midnight. The best part of it all is Joss' Master Plan.  The miniseries will be up on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Acts 1, 2 & 3 for $3.99, and later on DVD.  Joss hopes that the series will make enough to pay for itself and more.  It is a risk, but one that needed to be made.

I can only hope that there are enough people out there who are willing to support a quality show rather than pirate copies.  While there will always be a certain number of people who will take the content and not support its creation.  Then there are the others that have been trained by the industry to steal because the content was not available through other means.  Those that remain are the few that are willing to support the things they love.

If you want to see more of this kind of content and see what other things Joss can do without the studio limiting him, then show your love.
