Horton hears a Who!

DVD Releases: December 9th, 2008

  • get your copy of The Dark Knight here and help support the projectThe Dark Knight:  One of the best movies released to the theaters this year.  My full review can be read here Exploring: The Dark Knight.  A must own!
  • Horton Hears a Who!:  A much anticipated and poorly executed telling of this classic Dr. Seuss tale.  I was deeply saddened that an animated movie with such outstanding voice talent and comedic talent behind it could be such derivative crap.  Save your money and time.
  • Peter and the Wolf:  An animated retelling of this classic fantasy fable.  The film won the 2008 Oscar for Best Animated Short, and has received good reviews.  I have not seen it yet but have been interested in seeing it.  Definitely a renter maybe even an owner.
  • Roadrunner United: The Concert:  I love the album, I listen to all of the time and now I’m stoked that the concert is out.  A must own for all metal fans!  It was a celebration project for the 25th Anniversary of Roadrunner Records.  It is the ultimate in mashup art when they took 39 musicians, representing 25 different Roadrunner bands mixed and matched the musicians and had each group write and produce a song for the album and concert.
